Inter Miami CF vs. LA Galaxy | 2020 MLS Match Preview

2020 MLS Regular Season Week 3
Inter Miami CF vs. LA Galaxy
Inter Miami CF Stadium – Fort Lauderdale
March 14 – 3:00 PM ET

David Beckham's Inter Miami CF plays their historic first-ever game at Inter Miami CF Stadium against his former MLS team as Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez and the LA Galaxy come to South Florida for a marquee Week 3 matchup.

Rodolfo Pizarro scored the first goal in club history, but Inter Miami (0-2-0) is still searching for a first win after losing 2-1 to D.C. United at Audi Field. The Mexican international struck inside of two minutes, but Yamil Asad leveled from the penalty spot in the 59th minute and Frederic Brillant scored the decisive goal two minutes later.

The Galaxy (0-1-1) look to rebound from a 1-0 defeat to the Vancouver Whitecaps in front of an over-capacity crowd of 26,382 at Dignity Health Sports Park. Tosaint Ricketts scored the lone goal in the 74th minute, one minute before Joe Corona was sent off for his second bookable offense, leaving the Galaxy to finish the match with 10 men.
