DaMarcus Beasley just keeps on trucking. 


Nearly 20 years after he signed his first MLS contract, the Houston Dynamo's left back and captain donned his hero's cape in their 2019 Concacaf Champions League opener on Tuesday, racing into the CD Gustatoya penalty area to lash home an 84th-minute game-winner in Guatemala City:

Produced with a wicked sweep of his less-favored right foot, the goal puts Houston in the driver's seat as their CCL round-of-16 series vs. Guastatoya shifts back to the Bayou City, with the Guatemalans visiting BBVA Compass Stadium in a week's time.
