Another championship season means another star above the crest on the LA Galaxy's jerseys, including on a new one that debuts in 2015.
In LA they're calling it the "Blue on Blue" secondary kit and it was officially unveiled on Monday by the five-time MLS Cup champs as part of Jersey Week.
The shirt features various shades of blue with yellow highlights on the sleeves.

Among the finer details of the new LA kit are:
(1) The word "GALAXY" on the back of the jersey (see below, right);
(2) A "This is LA" jock tag on the lower left part of the jersey front (see right);
(3) The club's name, accompanied by the quasar design, on the inside neck tape (see below, left).
Also, as with all 10 charter members of Major League Soccer, there's also a "Founding Team" tag located on the inside of the shirt under the LA crest.
The LA Galaxy host the first match of the 2015 MLS season on Friday, March 6 when the Chicago Fire visit StubHub Center (10 pm ET, UniMas -- available in English)
