By the narrowest of margins, FC Cincinnati's Allan Cruz earned MLS AT&T Goal of the Week for Week 3.
Cruz scored an audacious backheel from six yards out to extend Cincy's lead over the Portland Timbers, in an eventual historic 3-0 victory for the club in their MLS home opener at Nippert Stadium.
The cheeky finish edged Jordan Morris' chip following a beautiful pass from Nicolas Lodeiro by just one percent, while only finishing above Lucas Rodriguez's fantastic volley from a corner kick by two percent. Goals from Ayo Akinola (5%) and Lass Bangoura (2%) were also nominated.
