Sporting Kansas City 7, Phoenix Rising 0 | 2019 MLS Preseason Recap

Sporting Kansas City cruised in their MLS preseason presented by AdvoCare match on Wednesday, a 7-0 victory over USL Championship side Phoenix Rising, who were fielding trialists, in Tempe, Ariz.

The scrimmage was 120 minutes total, with two 45-minute periods followed by a 30-minute session. As is common early in preseason, players were rotated throughout the match.

Goals came through Krisztian Nemeth, Kelyn Rowe, Daniel Salloi, Seth Sinovic, Wilson Harris (two goals), and Tyler Freeman.

Sporting will face Toluca in Concacaf Champions League play beginning on Feb. 21.
