Cyle Larin made a dream debut for his new club in Turkey on Saturday, netting a coolly-taken finish to bag his first Super Lig goal and help cap a 5-1 rout for Besiktas over Goztepe.

The Canada international and former No. 1 MLS SuperDraft pick entered the match in place of Caner Erkin in the 83rd minute and struck paydirt just three minutes later, running on to a lovely scooped pass from Mustafa Pektemek and dispatching his shot to run the score to 4-1 in favor of the Black Eagles.

The Brampton, Ontario native joined Besiktas in January after a contentious transfer saga with his former club Orlando City SC. Larin's side now sit in third place in Turkey's top flight, just three points back of leaders Istanbul Basaksehir as the season enters its home stretch.
