The 32-year-old former Polish international signed with Toronto FC on January 26, 2015. He made a total of 37 regular season appearances over two seasons, scoring two goals and helping Toronto FC to their first-ever MLS playoff berth last year. The departure of the experienced Perquis, which also opens up an international roster spot, leaves Toronto FC with five center backs on the roster: MLS veteran and regular starter Drew Moor, versatile 6-foot-2 defender Josh Williams and 23-year-olds Eriq Zavaleta and Nick Hagglund. The left-footed Clement Simonin, a No. 9 overall pick in the 2015 SuperDraft, has made just two league appearances in two seasons.
