Portland Timbers reveal preseason "van culture" in Tucson

So you're an MLS fan. You may be a diehard fan of a given team. You may watch preseason streams and keep track of the trialists in training camp, but do you know van culture?


That's right, van culture. Timbers.com profiled the special feature of preseason trips to Tucson, where players divide into five separate groups and get to know each other, argue or agree on music and more while traveling between their hotel and training. There's also a "call-up" system for a few lucky players, as goalkeeper Jake Gleeson discussed in considerable detail.
