Zlatan Ibrahimovic, David Beckham set wager ahead of Sweden-England

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, David Beckham - National teams - 2001

Sweden and England will clash in the 2018 FIFA World Cup quarterfinals on Saturday morning, and LA Galaxy superstars past and present are making online wagers about the big game.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, former Swedish national team captain, publicly offered a bet to former Galaxy and England midfielder David Beckham to take him out to dinner anywhere if England win, while Beckham would have to buy him whatever Ibrahimovic wants from Swedish home goods emporium Ikea if Sweden win.

Beckham, who is currently part of the ownership group for the MLS Miami expansion team, took him up on the bet and increased the stakes, asking Ibra to wear an England jersey while eating fish and chips at Wembley at an England game.

The duo played together at Paris Saint-Germain, where Beckham finished his career in 2013 after leaving the Galaxy with back-to-back MLS Cup titles.

Which player will emerge victorious? We'll find out on Saturday when the teams play for a place in the World Cup semifinals.
