The reigning MLS Cup champions teamed up with Reigning Champ clothing brand Tuesday night in Toronto for the fourth-annual MLS Cup Champions Pack.
Toronto FC players who took part in the event, which featured the MLS Cup Champions Foosball Classic, included Jonathan Osorio, Ashtone Morgan and Chris Mavinga, who formed the Toronto FC team in the foosball tournament, as well as Jay Chapman, Justin Morrow, Clint Irwin, Nick Hagglund and Ben Spencer.
“It’s sweet. It’s a Canadian brand and we’re a Canadian team and I’m glad a Canadian team, especially Toronto finally won,” Morgan said. “We’re the reigning champs and now we get to wear the gear loud and proud and I’m happy that we had the opportunity to work with them.”
The Toronto FC foosball team, led by Osorio and Morgan, bowed out in the semifinals of the competition.
“It was super cool and the environment was a lot of fun,” Osorio said. “Me and Ashtone had a lot of fun. We got through the first round, but then we were way out of our league going into the semifinal. Ashtone had to carry the team. But this was a great event.”
