MLS Disciplinary Committee suspends PC additional game, fines Alberth Elis

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued one suspension and one fine following Weeks 1 and 2 of the 2018 MLS regular season.


PC violent conduct

The Disciplinary Committee has suspended Orlando City SC defender PC one additional game (two total games) and fined him an undisclosed amount for violent conduct that endangered the safety of an opponent. The incident took place in the 37th minute of Orlando's game against D.C. United on March 3. PC served the first game of his suspension on March 10 against Minnesota and will complete his suspension on Saturday, March 17 against NYCFC.


Elis simulation/embellishment

The Disciplinary Committee has also found Houston Dynamo forward Alberth Elis guilty of simulation/embellishment. The incident took place in the 59th minute of the Dynamo's match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC on March 10. As a result, Elis has been fined an undisclosed amount.
