The US national team still is in with a shot at qualifying for the Copa America knockouts, but they'll have to do better than their 2-0 loss to Colombia on Friday.
One CONCACAF veteran, who played and coached against the USA with the Costa Rican national team, Hernan Medford, slammed the Americans' performance against Colombia and says he doesn't see better days ahead.
In the Univision pregame show ahead of Saturday's Costa Rica vs. Paraguay match, Medford used the US performance to make the case why the two countries had a chance at making it out of Group A.
He said the USA "couldn't make heads or tails yesterday [Friday] and I don't think they're going to improve for the upcoming matches."
