Chicago Fire FC midfielder Micheal Azira weighed in on racial inequality in today’s society, saying people shouldn’t be judged by the color of their skin, but rather “humanity should come first.”

The 32-year-old Ugandan midfielder said there are more similarities than differences among people and that skin color is not a choice.

“At the end of the day, we are all human beings,” Azira told the Players’ Tribune. “We all bleed red. You have one heart, I have one heart. You have two eyes, I have two eyes.”
