Former LA Galaxy defender Emiliano Insua has found a new club, signing for Argentina's Club Atletico Aldosivi alongside his brother Emanuel.

Insua signed a contract until the end of the year with Aldosivi, arriving on a free transfer after the Galaxy declined his option at the end of the 2020 season. The move marks Insua's return to his native Argentina after coming up through Boca Juniors' academy before leaving for Europe, first when signing for Liverpool in 2007.

Insua joined the Galaxy ahead of the 2020 season and played 22 matches in his lone MLS season. Since Insua's departure. the Galaxy have signed Jorge Villafana in a trade with the Portland Timbers to boost their full back ranks.
