Seattle Sounders release photos of 2019 MLS Cup championship rings

Seattle Sounders - Championship ring - Russell Wilson

The Seattle Sounders unveiled championship rings commemorating their 2019 MLS Cup title on the team's official Twitter account on Thursday.

A close-up glimpse of the ring given to Sounders part-owner and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson can be seen above, while the club also released photos of a few players sporting the new jewelry, including goalkeeper Stefan Frei, defender Roman Torres and midfielder Nicolas Lodeiro.

The Sounders are coming off their second MLS Cup title in four years, which they clinched with a 3-1 victory over Toronto FC in the 2019 final at CenturyLink Field last December.
