Get your soccer fix: Matches to watch, including a TSN MLS Cup broadcast

Chris Mavinga - Raul Ruidiaz - 2019 MLS Cup

The one-month mark of the 2020 MLS season being suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic is near, but there’s still plenty to whet your soccer appetite on Saturday.

The headliner arrives on TSN2 at 2 pm ET, when a replay of 2019 MLS Cup between Seattle Sounders and Toronto FC unfolds. Spoiler alert: Celebrations ensue for the home side when the final whistle gets blown.

Another memorable clash comes at 8 pm ET on USSoccer.com, when a replay of the 2017 U.S. Open Cup semifinal between New York Red Bulls and FC Cincinnati re-airs. That match took place at Nippert Stadium before Cincy joined MLS, but the first-division visitors received quite the scare.

Over a dozen MLS Classics matches are also available on demand, including five with live guest commentary in the “MLS Classics: Remix” mold. There’s plenty in store, ranging from the first-ever MLS game to iconic moments from stars such as David Beckham and Wayne Rooney.

Several FIFA 20 streams featuring MLS teams are also slated for the afternoon. Nashville SC midfielder Hany Mukhtar and Sporting Kansas City midfielder Wan Kuzain will square off at 3 pm ET.

The eMLS players for Columbus Crew SC (Crew96Skamzz) and Orlando City (FifaAbe) will clash at 3:30 pm ET, offering yet another option.
