Fresh off an impressive debut with the US men’s national team, UEFA Europa League matches could be in Ulysses Llanez’s immediate future.

The former LA Galaxy academy standout was one of three players added to Wolfsburg’s roster, as per UEFA’s rules. Each team in the Round of 32 is permitted three new players by Feb. 3.

The 18-year-old winger from Lynwood, Calif., has been tearing it up for Wolfsburg in the U-19 Bundesliga, with 10 goals and three assists through 11 games. He's yet to make his first-team debut.

To close out the USMNT's January camp, Llanez scored the decisive penalty kick for the USMNT in a 1-0 win over Costa Rica at Dignity Heath Sports Park last Saturday.

Wolfsburg have been drawn against Swedish powerhouse Malmo FF in the Round of 32, with the first leg Feb. 20 at Volkswagen Arena and the second leg a week later in Malmo.
