The New York Red Bulls have a pair of pending additions to bolster their defense, according to a Tuesday report from ProSoccerUSA.com.

Per the report from Dylan Butler, the Red Bulls are set to ink Danish goalkeeper David Jensen and English right back Mandela Egbo, with an official announcement expected to come later this week.

Jensen, 27, would be arriving from FC Utrecht of the Dutch top flight Eredivisie, where he's made 112 appearances since 2016 but had only made five this season after relinquishing his starting spot. The acquisition would fit with the plan for the position outlined by head coach Chris Armas, who told reporters last week the Red Bulls were looking to add competition for current No. 1 keeper Ryan Meara.

Egbo, 22, would come to the club from SV Darmstadt 98 of the 2. Bundesliga after a youth career in the Crystal Palace academy. He made 84 appearances for Borussia Monchengladbach II in 2015 before transferring to Darmstadt and would provide depth and competition for Armas at outside back.
