TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
Sporting Kansas City have been relatively quiet this summer, but that may soon change.
According to Sam McDowell of the Kansas City Star, the club have agreed to terms with Portuguese left back Luis Martins, who will join the club on a free transfer.
Martins, 27, has spent his entire career on the Iberian peninsula, largely in his native Portugal, though also in Spain. He has made 81 career appearances in the Portuguese top flight, including 15 this season with Chavez.
He was also capped regularly at youth levels for the Portuguese national team from U-16 through U-21.
