FC Cincinnati loan defender Hassan Ndam to USL's Charlotte Independence

FC Cincinnati loaned center back Hassan Ndam to the Charlotte Independence on Wednesday, for the remainder of the 2019 USL Championship season, pending US P-1 Visa approval.

Ndam, 20, has yet to appear for the Orange and Blue this season after FCC selected him from the New York Red Bulls with the No. 5 selection in the 2018 MLS Expansion Draft.

The Cameroon youth international made four appearances across all competitions with the Red Bulls after he arrived from Rainbow FC prior to the start of the 2017 season. The 6-foot-4 defender made a combined 58 appearances, including 56 starts, and scored three goals for Red Bulls II in USL regular-season play.
