NYCFC will embark on the first of their games in Preseason presented by Advocare with a clash against Denmark's most successful team all-time, FC Copenhagen, during the Cityzens' camp in Abu Dhabi.

NYCFC are gearing up for their fifth season and first under head coach Dome Torrent.

The Danish challengers are in the middle of their season, and are looking to get back on top after finishing fourth last season in the Danish Superliga. They're currently in first place, and participated in the Europa League group stage this season, although they failed to qualify for the knockout round.
There are several FC Copenhagen alums who have played in MLS, including current FC Cincinnati forward Fanendo Adi and new Minnesota United midfielder Jan Gregus. So don't be surprised if a member or two of the current squad end up in MLS one day.
