After the review they take a moment to reflect on what we know about team value building after 9 rounds and the important tactics to take into the upcoming Fall season.

The Philadelphia Union and FC Cincinnati take center stage as the only teams that play twice in Week 10, but there are several single-game week players with attractive matchups, too. Here are this week’s MLS Fantasy positional rankings, with an emphasis on double game week players that could earn points from two games.

Jack Elliott has been a rock for a Union defense that has kept a clean sheet in two of their last three home games, and he’s a safe bet to feature in both games this week. Up first is a sputtering FC Cincinnati attack that’s been shut out in three straight games before rounding the week out at home on Saturday against a New England Revolution unit that’s been held scoreless five times in 2019 (7:30 pm ET — TV & streaming info).

Marco Fabian could return from injury this week | USA Today Sports Images

Marco Fabian is back in full training after missing the last two games through injury. Should he return to the starting lineup on Wednesday, he offers an elite attacking option at a discount. The Mexican international's production has been all over the place due to injuries and suspension, but he gave us a glimpse of his attacking upside in Week 5 with a goal and 10 points against Philadelphia’s first Week 10 opponent, FC Cincinnati.

With a lack of reliable double game week options, Carlos Vela sticks out as the top forward with a favorable matchup at home versus the Chicago Fire. He’s averaging 11 fantasy points per game at home, and it’s hard to imagine Vela slowing down against a Fire team that has lost three of four games on the road.
