Add another name to the list of out-of-favor European stars connected with the Chicago Fire.
English outlet The Daily Mail reported on Friday that Barcelona and Turkey winger Arda Turan is in discussions about a potential move to Chicago. The 30-year-old hasn’t played in a La Liga game for Barca this season after totaling five goals and six assists in 36 combined appearances in the 2015-16 and 2016-17 campaigns.
Turan has 16 goals in 100 career caps with Turkey. Prior to moving to Barcelona, he spent four seasons with Atletico Madrid and seven seasons in the Turkish SuperLig, six of them with Galatasaray.
