Brazilian side Cruzeiro have rejected a $7 million offer from Orlando City SC for Uruguayan attacking midfielder Giorgian De Arrascaeta, according to a Portuguese-language report from Brazilian publication Globo Esporte.

According to the report, Cruzeiro — who have De Arrascaeta under contract through 2019 — are waiting to move him to see if his stock rises during the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Orlando City are seeking a replacement for Kaká, who retired after the 2017 MLS season.
