GQ: New York Red Bulls star Thierry Henry shows how keeping it "minimal" still looks good | SIDELINE

If there is one thing the French do really, really well — more exceptionally well than any other well done thing — it's the fitted suit.

And men's fashion magazine GQ has reminded us of exactly that with a spread of slim, fitted, spring suits modeled by none other than the New York Red Bulls' Thierry Henry — featured in the magazine's January 2014 issue.

The concept of the spread is très-minimal — which in French is to be "very minimal." Many folks would not call a closet full of $4,000 suits and $1,300 dress shirts "very minimal," but you just keep doing your thing anyway, Thierry.

One of Henry's countrymen, Sporting Kansas City defender and 2013 Volkswagen MLS Cup MVP Aurelien Collin, has also made waves since coming to MLS in 2011, last year launching his own fashion line, hosting his very first fashion show and taking one MLSsoccer.com staff member on a shopping excursion he'll not soon forget.

If you're up for some serious fashion knowledge from the French, the photo captions of this spread are rife with small tidbits that'll help you one day — maybe — look half as sharp as France's greatest-ever goalscorer.
