Stroud was signed to an MLS contract with the New York Red Bulls in January of 2020 and went on to make 20 regular season appearances (11 starts) while contributing two (2) assists. The Chester, New Jersey, native spent the 2019 season with the New York Red Bulls II, where he was named to the 2019 USL Championship All-League First Team after helping NYRB II make its fifth consecutive playoff berth with a team-leading 15 goals and nine (9) assists in 34 matches.
In 2018, Stroud played in 32 matches (22 starts) with NYRB II, scoring seven (7) goals and adding 11 assists to help Red Bulls II to make the playoffs. A Colgate men's soccer standout, Stroud was a threetime All-Patriot League pick and two-time All-Region selection.
