We're only one week away from the first legs of the Conference Championships in the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs, presented by AT&T, and three USMNT players are coming back home to start preparing.

The US Soccer Federation on Saturday announced that New England Revolution duo Jermaine Jones and Lee Nguyen as well as Seattle Sounders right back DeAndre Yedlin were released from the squad to rejoin their MLS clubs ahead of the big matches next weekend.

Houston Dynamo left back DaMarcus Beasley was also among those released. According to US Soccer, none of the four players will be replaced ahead of Tuesday's match-up against the Republic of Ireland in Dublin (2:45 pm ET, ESPN2 and Univision).

The Revolution will be traveling to Red Bull Arena to face RBNY on Sunday, Nov. 23 (1:30 pm ET, NBC), while Yedlin and the Sounders are on the road against the LA Galaxy (5 pm ET, ESPN and ESPN Deportes).

Jones was the only one of the four MLSers released to go 90 minutes against Colombia on Friday in a 2-1 loss at London's Craven Cottage. Yedlin went 86 minutes, while Nguyen (12 minutes) and Beasley (20 minutes) came off the bench.

Their departure leaves the USMNT with 21 players for Tuesday's match in Dublin.
