Sporting Kansas City unveiled their new third jersey on Wednesday, releasing a monochromatic white and metallic silver top that the team will debut in their nationally televised match against the Chicago Fire on Sunday at Sporting Park (5 pm ET, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, match preview).

The collared jersey’s argyle pattern, which was also featured on Sporting’s third jersey in 2013-14, is showcased across the chest in metallic silver and incorporated atop the back of the uniform, as well as on the socks. The silver metallic color scheme is also showcased on the player names and numbers, two MLS Cup championship stars above the club crest and on all four distinctive logos – MLS, Sporting Kansas City, adidas and Ivy Funds – on the jersey.
