Sporting Kansas City Midfielder Felipe Gutiérrez Voted MLS Player of the Month presented by EA SPORTS™

– Sporting Kansas City midfielder Felipe Gutiérrez was voted the MLS Player of the Month presented by EA SPORTS™ by members of the media for the month of March of the 2018 MLS season.
The 27-year-old Designated Player leads MLS with five goals scored in five matches played during March. Behind Gutiérrez’s efforts, SKC sits atop the Western Conference (10 points, 3-1-1 record), while the club’s 10 goals scored ties for the most in the league. Gutiérrez has scored in four straight matches to help SKC to an active four-game unbeaten streak.
Following a loss to New York City FC in the opening week, Gutiérrez rebounded with two goals in Sporting KC’s 4-3 victory at the Chicago Fire on March 10. The Chile National Team member opened the match with a header in the ninth minute (
