Back on September 16 the Seattle Sounders took home their first silverware of the year, defeating the Philadelphia Union 3-1 in the 2014 US Open Cup Final.
They currently top the Supporters' Shield standings, edging out the LA Galaxy on the first tiebreaker (wins). And the Sounders have already qualified for the MLS Cup Playoffs, where they will battle for the ultimate prize, MLS Cup 2014 (Seattle already has announced its first home playoff date).
If they're somehow able to claim those two trophies, they will be the first team in MLS history to win the treble. But they also have a shot at making it a quadruple.
On Friday night (10 pm ET / NBCSN) the Sounders will face the Vancouver Whitecaps in the final matchup of the 2014 Cascadia Cup. The Sounders currently lead the standings, edging out the Whitecaps and the Portland Timbers by a point.
Win or tie on Friday and the trophy, currently held by the Whitecaps, will take up a new home at CenturyLink Field.
