Jozy Altidore trolls Montreal Impact fans after stunning free kick

Are you not entertained?

That was the question from Jozy Alitdore in Saturday’s 2-0 win for Toronto FC over rivals Montreal Impact, with the US men’s national team forward scoring an early Goal of the Week contender.

With a 1-0 lead in the 95th minute, Altidore and fellow Designated Player Alejandro Pozuelo stood over a free kick, with anyone’s guess as to who would shoot. Ultimately, Altidore perfectly curled his 25-yard shot over the wall, dinking it off the post and past Montreal goalkeeper Evan Bush.

The celebration from Altidore turned heads, though, as he reeled towards the Montreal fans, flexed and trolled hard (watch video above).

Across the playoffs, regular season and Canadian Championship, Altidore now has 11 goals and five assists against the Impact. The next closest throughout his club career is seven goals and two assists against the Chicago Fire.

This was the first time Altidore has gone 90 minutes since a May 31 tie at the Vancouver Whitecaps. His late-game flex also coincided with midfielder Michael Bradley and defender Omar Gonzalez, both fellow USMNT players, returning to the fold.
