Omar Gonzalez is a big, physical centerback who plays for Pachuca in Mexico and for the US Men's National Team. Gonzalez won the 2016 Liga MX championship in his first season with Pachuca and helped Pachuca win the 2017 CONCACAF Champions League title. Prior to Pachuca, Gonzalez was drafted third overall by the LA Galaxy in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft. Gonzalez was named the Rookie of the Year, Defender of the Year (2011), and to four MLS Best XI's (2010, 2011, 2013, 2014). He won three MLS Cups (2011, 2012, 2014) and two Supporters' Shields (2010, 2011) with the Galaxy.
