Juan Pablo Torres, a midfielder followers of the US youth international program will know well, is reportedly having a physical in the Big Apple and is set to join New York City FC, according to a European report.
The 19-year-old Torres, who has been on the books at Belgian side Lokeren but seen little first-team action, could become the second young American midfielder to be signed by the Cityzens this month, following the arrival of Keaton Parks.
Torres scored four goals in seven appearances for the US at the 2018 Concacaf U-20 Championship last year.
