TVA Sports is among the Canadian outlets reporting that Canada youth international defender Emile Legault has been invited to the Montreal Impact's preseason training camp.
Legault, who will be 19 in April, spent several years in France with Auxerre's youth academy, most recently playing for the club's U-19 squad. Last summer, he was linked to a potential move to Celtic in Scotland that ultimately fell apart.
He also spent a week training with the Impact last July.
Internationally, Legault most recently made four starts and played 300 minutes for Canada in the 2018 Concacaf Under-20 Championship. The year before, he made three starts for Canada's contingent at the 2017 Concacaf U-17 Championship.
