Montreal won their fifth straight at home, topping San Jose 2-0 on Saturday night. In addition to another bad result -- leaving them winless in 10 -- the Earthquakes exposed some troubles in the group with a strange and tense substitution row between head coach Mikael Stahre and midfielder Fatai Alashe.
