Chris Henderson says Seattle Sounders sights set on two Liga MX players

While sitting down for a long discussion with Soccer America, Seattle Sounders sporting director and vice president Chris Henderson revealed his club may yet make a splashy addition or two before the primary transfer window closes.

While the Sounders begin their CONCACAF Champions League campaign in El Salvador on Thursday against Santa Tecla, Henderson will be on a scouting mission to watch other fixtures in the tournament.

"We've been looking at a couple guys in Mexico, one at Tigres and one at America, so it will be good to see them live again," he told Soccer America.

Henderson noted the club still had a Designated Player spot to fill, as well as allocation funding to put toward perhaps another signing.
