Lions pounce to snare Kljestan from RBNY

Big news came for Orlando City fans on Tuesday, with Jeff Carlisle of ESPN first reporting that the club have pulled off a trade for New York Red Bulls star Sacha Kljestan and a sack of Targeted Allocation Money, confirmed Wednesday morning by the clubs. RBNY are accepting Tommy Redding and Carlos Rivas in return for their skipper. READ MORE

Another ATL bid for Barco rejected?

According to leading Argentine daily Clarin, Atlanta United have now seen an improved offer knocked back [in Spanish—ed.] for Independiente playmaking talent Ezequiel Barco. The paper claims the Red Devils are holding out for a fee of well over $20 million. READ MORE

A loan ace for the Five Stripes this past season, Yamil Asad is now back in Argentina to start preseason camp at Velez Sarsfield. Though he's not sure what his future holds, the winger says he loved his time in Atlanta [in Spanish—ed.] and knows MLS has not seen the last of him yet. READ MORE

D.C. add Venezuela midfielder Moreno

Soccer Insider Steven Goff first reported that D.C. United have snared Zulia central midfielder Junior Moreno, later confirmed by the team. The 24-year-old enjoyed his first four Venezuela caps in 2017, with a debut coming against the US national team back in July. READ MORE
