Blanco knows how to work back defensively, but is an attacking player with the ability to play on either wing, and even in the No. 10 role. He is technical and can provide quality decision making in the final third. After a great first season with the club, he may have an even larger role in 2018.

INTERNATIONAL: Blanco has two caps with the Argentina National Team, making his debut with Argentina on May 20, 2009, in a 3-1 win over Panama. Blanco scored his first goal for the national team in a 4-0 win over Haiti on May 5, 2010.
