FC Dallas signed Pomykal as the 15th Homegrown on September 8, 2016.

2021: Pomykal started in 18 matches out of the 31 appearances recorded in the MLS regular season, played a total of 1,518 minutes for the year. Scored his lone goal of the season in a 2-1 win on the road vs. Sporting KC on July 31. Contributed with two assists, with one coming in the 4-1 win vs. Portland Timbers on May 1, and the other in the 2-2 tie vs. Real Salt Lake on May 22. Ended the year with a 78.4% in accurate pass percentage. Made one appearance in the MLS Team of the Week for Week 16.
2020:* Appeared in five MLS games (one start) recorded 150 minutes. Scored in the home opener vs. Montreal Impact in the 91st minute of the match.
2019: Recorded his first assist on March 9 vs. LA Galaxy after assisting Bryan Acosta in the 61st minute. Scored his first FC Dallas brace on March 30 vs. Real Salt Lake. Pomykal scored his first MLS goal in the 32nd minute and scored his second goal in the 64th minute. Recorded his second assist of the season on May 22 vs. Toronto FC. Appeared in one match for FC Dallas in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Recorded three assists, a career-high, on Aug. 10 vs. Minnesota United FC. Made his MLS playoff debut in the 77th minute on Oct. 19 vs. Seattle Sounders FC at CenturyLink Field. Played 43 minutes. Was selected as the Commissioner’s Pick for the 2019 MLS All-Star Game on July 31 against Atlético Madrid. Made the MLS Team of the Week on seven occasions, on the bench for Weeks 23 and 29 and starting for Weeks 2, 4, 5, 16, and 18.
2018: Pomykal appeared in six MLS games (one start) and one U.S. Open Cup game. Made his first appearance since March 18, 2017, subbing in for Hayes on March 18 vs. Seattle Sounders. Was a halftime substitute in the 2018 MLS Homegrown Game against Tigres U-20s. Made his second FCD appearance on June 23 vs. NY Red Bulls. Was one of five Homegrowns to start the match against Minnesota United, a franchise record. Was one of six Homegrowns to share the pitch against Chicago Fire, an MLS record. Made a substitute appearance vs. Sporting Kansas City on July 28. Included in the 18-man squad an additional four times.
2017: Played 437 minutes in his first preseason with FC Dallas against some of the top teams in Argentina’s first division. Scored twice in FCD’s 2-0 win against SMU on Feb. 19. Picked up an assist in a 2-2 draw vs. Racing on Feb. 11. Made his professional debut on March 1, in a CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal match against Arabe Unido. He started twice for FCD against Sporting Kansas City and New England Revolution. Started two U.S. Open Cup matches. Was selected for the 2017 MLS Homegrown Game.
FC Dallas Academy
2017: Helped win the Dr. Pepper Dallas Cup’s Gordon Jago Super Group for FCD’s U-18 team on April 16. Pomykal was named to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy’s Central Conference Starting XI after helping the FC Dallas Academy claim both the U-16 and U-18 National Championships.
2016: Pomykal played in 10 matches for the U-18 side and scored two goals.
2015: Made 15 appearances for the U-16 team in the 2015 season, scored eight goals for the 23-2-0 Frontier Division Champions before moving up to play with the U-18 team on April 9, 2016.
2020: Called up to the U.S. Men’s National Team January Camp.
2019: Captained the United States U-20 National Team during the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland, including the 3-2 win against tournament-favorite France in the Round of 16 and quarterfinal match against Ecuador (U.S. was eliminated in 2-1 loss). Earned his first senior team call up to the U.S. Men’s National Team in August and appeared in the final 5 minutes of the match against Uruguay on September 11. U.S. and Uruguay tied 1-1.
2018: Called up to the U.S. U-20 National Team for international friendlies in September. Played 49 minutes in the 3-1 win against Jamaica’s U-20 team on Sept. 7. Helped the U-20 National Team win the Concacaf U-20 Championship on Nov. 22 after defeating Mexico 2-0. Pomykal scored three goals and recorded seven assists in the tournament, including the two assists in the final against Mexico.
2017: Called up on April 18th to the U.S. U-18 National Team for the Slovakian Cup where he scored a goal during a match against Belarus. Called up to represent the U.S. U-18 in Spain from Oct. 1 to Oct. 10. Captained the 2-0 loss against Belgium on Oct. 5.
2016: Netted a goal in the 39th minute of a 4-2 win against the Czech Republic to help his team lift the 2016 Vacalv Jezek Tournament Championship on Aug. 20.
2015: Played in the 2015 adidas Generation Cup in Germany and trained with several top clubs in Europe.
