Canada’s 26-player roster for the FIFA 2022 World Cup is out.
Canadian international Kamal Miller signed a contract extension for the next two seasons. The deal also includes an option year for 2024.
Miller was selected by Austin FC in the 2020 Expansion Draft, on December 15, 2020, as he was left unprotected by Orlando City SC, and was traded to CF Montréal on the same day.
He played the 2019 and 2020 seasons with Orlando City SC, playing 28 regular season games, including 23 starts, cumulating 2,155 minutes of play, plus two MLS playoff games, including one start, for a total of 121 minutes of play. Miller was selected 27th in the 2019 SuperDraft by Orlando City SC. Previously, he played 78 games with Syracuse university.
With the Canadian national team, Kamal Miller made his debut for Canada on June 24, 2019, and played 23 games with the team, including almost every World Cup qualifier.
