HOW ACQUIRED: Selected by Austin FC in the 2020 MLS Expansion Draft on Dec. 15, 2020, and then immediately traded to Montreal Impact in exchange for $225,000 in General Allocation Money, $50,000 in conditional General Allocation Money and the 11th first-round pick in the 20201 MLS SuperDraft.

Miller is a young center back who can also play on the left side. He made 28 appearances for Orlando City in his first two seasons in the league after being selected in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.

INTERNATIONAL: Appeared in four matches for Canada after making his senior national team debut on June 23 in the final group stage match of the Concacaf Gold Cup against Cuba. Received his first senior call-up on March 18 . Previously, he competed for the Canadian U-20 National Team at the Concacaf U-20 Championship

COLLEGE: While at Syracuse, Miller was named Team Captain during his junior and senior seasons for the Orangemen. Miller finished his career with seven goals and three assists over 78 appearances. In his sophomore season, the center back led the Syracuse backline to 11 shutouts, the third most in school history. Following his senior campaign, the Canada native earned both All-ACC and All-South Region honors for his defensive efforts.
