2021: Obrian led the team with games played at 34 and started 25 of those regular season MLS matches. He made his FC Dallas debut at Toyota Stadium in a 0-0 tie vs. Colorado Rapids on April 17. Obrian scored his first goal for FC Dallas in the 14th minute of a 4-1 win at Toyota Stadium vs. Portland Timbers on May 1. He provided his first assist for FC Dallas in a 3-2 loss on the road at Rio Tinto Stadium vs. Real Salt Lake on September 4. In his first season at the club, Obrian played a total of 2,192 minutes, being the teams second top scorer with nine, and contributing with four assists in his first season. Obrian recorded his first MLS brace in 3-3 tie at Red Bull Arena, scoring in the 4th, and 73rd’ minute vs. New York City FC on September 14. Then recorded his second career MLS brace in a 3-2 loss at BBVA Compass Stadium, scoring in the 86th and 94th minute vs. Texas rival Houston Dynamo. Obrian made the MLS Team of the Week starting XI in Week 25, and then made the bench for week 26.  

Obrian, 25, joins FC Dallas after spending two seasons with Colombian first-division side Águilas Doradas where he has scored 27 goals in 68 appearances across all competitions. He is currently second in Categoría Primera A with 13 goals scored this season. He has also played for Deportes Tolima and Uniautónoma FC in Categoría Primera A, as well as Cúcuta Deportivo during its time in Colombia’s second-division league Categoría Primera B in 2018.  

Obrian started his professional career in 2015 with Uniautónoma FC and played alongside former FC Dallas player Michael Barrios. He made his debut on February 3, 2015 in the 1-1 draw against Alianza Petrolera. *
