The Pan-Pacific Championship festivities officially began this Sunday afternoon on DeRussy Beach in Waikiki Beach, where Sydney FC's Steve Corica, Brendan Santalab and Houston Dynamo's Brian Ching participated in the first Kick Across Hawaii event celebrating the tournament and honoring the local community. Corica led the relay of the official tournament match ball down DeRussy Beach along with hundreds of local youth who participated in the local Sand Soccer Tournament.
