Aaronson emerged as the main creator for Philadelphia at the MLS is Back Tournament, registering a team-high three assists, tied for seventh-most in the tournament. A product of the Union Academy, Aaronson signed a Homegrown Player contract ahead of the 2019 season, registering three goals and two assists across 28 appearances while being named a finalist for the MLS Rookie of the Year award.
