Andy Najar's rise continues.
The 21-year-old former D.C. United academy product, who transferred to Anderlecht in Belgium in January of 2013, has had an incredible last few months.
In June he played on Honduras' World Cup squad in Brazil, making two appearances; earlier this month he was named his club's player of the month; and now he has scored in the UEFA Champions League against Arsenal.
In the 70th minute Najar headed home a cross to put his team up 1-0. They would go on to lose the game 2-1, giving up two late goals.

That goal made him the first Honduran to score in the UEFA Champions League.
Also take a look at who was the first one to greet him on the sidelines: none other than USMNT and MLS veteran Sacha Kljestan.
Najar joined D.C. United's academy in 2008 and became the team's second homegrown signing in March 2010. He would go on to win Rookie of the Year that season and two years later was an integral part of the team that reached the Eastern Conference Finals. He was recently linked with a move to English Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur.
