U.S. Soccer is launching its first-ever official podcast, and MLSsoccer.com's own Charlie Davies is going be a major part.
Davies, a former USMNT forward, will co-host "The U.S. Soccer Podcast" on a weekly basis with former US women's youth international and current broadcaster Jordan Angeli. The weekly show will provide listeners with exclusive insight on all US full and youth national team programs, including interviews with players and federation officials and never-before-aired stories from those involved in building the American game.
Joining Davies and Angeli for the first program was US women's national team GM Kate Markgraf, who discussed a playing career that included helping the U.S. to its 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup triumph, her duties now as that program's GM, and more.
The podcast will augment U.S. Soccer’s “Bend The Curve. Stay At Home.” campaign that emphasizes COVID-19 awareness. Access every episode at USsoccer.com, Spotify and Stitcher.
