TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
The New York Red Bulls are on the verge of signing 20-year-old midfielder Dru Yearwood from Brentford in the English Championship, the Daily Mail reports.
It would reportedly be a transfer that could be in the $1.8 million range. The sides had agreed in principal earlier this year, according to the report, but the coronavirus pandemic put things on hold.
LasYearwood made the move to Brentford last August from League One side Southend, where he came up through their youth ranks and made 52 appearances in the third division as a teenager. However, he appeared just five times across all competitions this season for the Bees, who are in the thick of the race for promotion to the Premier League, currently sitting three points off an automatic promotion place with three games to play.
