After fan voting, a pair of Cascadia Cup rivalry cities have been dubbed the best road trips for MLS fans. Top honors go to Portland, with Seattle narrowly behind their Pacific Northwest neighbors. Atlanta, Minneapolis/St. Paul and Los Angeles round out the top five, with new soccer-specific stadiums in the latter two markets acting as major draws.

Here’s the full ranking, with New York City resting just outside of the top 10. For voting purposes, the Big Apple and LA's two clubs were each grouped together.

Setting the scene

There’s a lot that goes into an MLS road trip from a fan’s perspective. Food, accommodations, stadium atmosphere, ease of travel and more can define how pleasant the experience is. Whether your team returns home with three points or an important road draw has a big impact, too.

So, we asked you, the fans, where some of your best MLS road trips over the years have taken place. Maybe your team secured a memorable result or there’s a relationship with another supporters’ group that you’ll always cherish. Perhaps the weather and game day food knocked it out of the park.
