TRANSFER TRACKER: Report
With the Secondary Transfer Window set for July 9 to Aug. 7, players from across the world are being linked in the press with an MLS move.
The latest is Congolese winger Dieumerci Ndongala, who has spent nearly his entire professional career in Belgium. Currently playing for KRC Genk, Belgian outlet La Derniere Heure writes that Ndongala is either heading to MLS or Turkish club Beskitas.
Ndongala has 32 goals and 31 assists across 215 career club appearances, with the 2018-19 season his best in the Jupiler Pro League. Ndongala, 28, won a Belgian league title this past year with Genk and has featured in 20 Europa League games.
A handful of Congolese players currently feature in MLS, including TFC center back Chris Mavinga, Portland Timbers center back Larrys Mabiala and forward Michee Ngalina, who signed with the Philadelphia Union in May.
