Ngalina joined the Union after a successful stint with their USL Championship affiliate, notching 10 goals and three assists in 31 appearances. He also has one first-team appearance to his name prior to his signing, an appearance in the 2018 U.S. Open Cup for the Union. A speedy player with a knack for getting by defenders, Philadelphia hope he will be able to provide depth and bring a new element to their attack.
INTERNATIONAL: Ngalina is a DR Congo youth international, having played for the U-17 squad in 2016, when he was the team's top scorer.
OUTSIDE MLS: Signed with Bethlehem Steel ahead of the 2018 USL season. Scored the first-ever goal for Steel FC in the USL Cup Playoffs, a game they won in a penalty shootout. Scored three goals and one assist in seven USL Championship appearances in the 2019 season prior to his signing for the Union. Is a product of the famed Montverde Academy in Florida.
